This is the block I'm currently werking on. I did the top lace motif, vine at the right and the Wisteria at the left. The vine will get ribbon roses.

Dit is het blok waar ik momenteel aan werk. Ik heb het kanten motief toegevoegd plus de rank rechts en de blauwe regen links. De rank krijgt nog rozen van zijdelint.

I want to add a shaped tree, that I'm preparing seperately, sorry for the blurry pic.

Ik ga nog een in de vorm geknipt boompje toevoegen. Die ben ik apart aan het maken. Excuses voor de vage foto.

Mijn eerste pagina ontvangen via een nieuwe ruil van stitchin'fingers. Mijn thema is lente.

This is across the street from me. Underneacht a big weeping willow a swan is on her nest.

Dit is aan de overkant van de straat van mij. Onder een grote treurwilg zit een zwaan te broeden.

I have been felting again. I do this sitting on my sofa, working on my lap pillow. The pieces are small. 

Ik ben weer aan het vilten geweest. Ik werk op mijn schootkussen, zittend op de bank.

I love how this sky turned out. The road looks fine too. Trees need embroidery.

Ik ben blij met de lucht zo. En de weg ziet er goed uit. De bomen moeten geborduurd.

I'm not happy about how this one turned out. The sky is too much and the road has the wrong angle.

Ik ben over deze niet tevreden. De lucht heeft wat teveel kleur en de weg loopt in een verkeerde hoek.

Ellen heeft deze pagina voor mij gemaakt. Deze ruil loopt via de Fibermailgroep en mijn thema was vogel.Wat is ie mooi he?

 We went for another walk at the park of the Duivenvoorde castle in Voorschoten. A lot had changed in only a few weeks time. The weeping willow was still gorgeous tho'.

We zijn weer gaan wandelen in het bos van kasteel Duivenvoorde in Voorschoten. Er was veel veranderend in die paar weken tussentijd. De treurwilg is prachtig als altijd.

Didn't take as much photo's as last time. But I did pick up a tick. Discovered it in my neck in the middle of the night. 

Ik heb deze keer niet zoveel foto's genomen. Wel heb ik een teek opgedaan. Ontdekte 'm 's nachts aan m'n hals.

 Discovered this one sitting the door of a shed late in the evening. 

Ontdekte deze ´s avonds laat op een schuurdeur.

 Yeah, I´m an earl grey fan.

Textielpagina

 For November I received the above fabric page through the bookpage swap on fibermail. It is made by Nadia Bekker, I absolutely love this peacock, he's gorgeous. Below you see the package in which it was sent. Isn't that neat?

Voor november heb ik de textielpagina hierboven ontvangen. We doen een textielpaginaruil op fibermail. Deze is gemaakt door Nadia Bekker. Ik vind deze pauw prachtig. Hieronder zie je de verpakking waarin hij is verzonden, bijzonder hè?

 I'm still working on the october page. The middle has been felted, I attached it onto hand dyed cottons, I needle felted the sheep into the wool. The surrounding sheep are done in stumpwork. Now I have to cut it into the right size and sew a back on it.

Ik werk nog aan de oktoberpagina. Het midden is gevilt. Dat heb ik op handgeverfde katoen genaaid. De schaapjes zijn op de wol gevilt met de naald. De schaapjes eromheen zijn in stumpwork gemaakt. Nu nog op maat knippen en een achterkant eraan naaien.

 Merel had her birthday. Aisha was having a party of her own. You can say she had a ball.

Merel was jarig. Aisha vierde een feestje op zichzelf. Ze had grote pret.

Here's the little felted piece that I've sewn onto a background in the same colors. The blue cotton is snow dyed. I will add embroidery to finish it.
Hier heb ik het kleine gevilte lapje op een achtergrond in de zelfde kleuren genaaid. Het blauwe katoen is gesneeuwverfd. Ik ga nog borduren om dit af te maken.

I couldn't find the right green cotton to crochet the lace border so I settled for brown and I think it looks good. I now have finished only one border. I found the pattern at the antiquelibrary
Ik kon geen groen haakgaren voor de kanten rand vinden dat bij de vilt paste dus heb ik bruin genomen en ik vind het mooi staan zo. Ik heb nu 1 rand af en nog 1 te gaan. Het patroon heb ik gevonden in de antiquelibrary.

this and that

I'm in a bookpage swap on the Fibermail group. My theme is "bird". Ans Vrijhof has made this lovely page for me. I lovely page to start the swap with.
Ik doe mee aan een boekpaginaruil van de Fibermailgroep. Mijn thema is "vogel". Ans Vrijhof heeft deze leuke pagina voor mij gemaakt. Een prima vogel om deze ruil mee te beginnen.

  Minoes loves to sit on top of my secretaire. From there she can oversee everything that happens in the room and also look outside on the busy road.
Minoes zit graag bovenop de secretaire, vanwaar ze een goed overzicht heeft op alles wat in de kamer gebeurd en buiten op de drukke weg.

The vessel made from tyvek and embellished with beads, has made it home. Sandra put the branches in it and I added the feather. I love how it looks, but Minoes prefers to taste it, alas.
Dit object, gemaakt van tyvek en versierd met kralen, is eindelijk thuis. Sandra heeft er takken in gezet en ik heb de veer toegevoegd. Ziet 't er niet mooi uit? Minoes probeert er helaas van te knabbelen.
