AAs

 This first AA has been made for Mariejosee for the swap of the Fibermail group.

Her theme is blue. I find blue a difficult color to work with. Anyway, I like how it turned out.

Hand dyed cotton, rubber stamp, some painting and Angelina.

 Deze eerste AA is voor Mariejosee gemaakt voor de ruil van de Fibermailgroep.

Haar thema is blauw, voor mij een lastige kleur. Maar ik ben tevreden met het resultaat.

Handgeverfde katoen, stempel, wat verf en Angelina.

 AA for Tonny. Her theme is bird(s).

I cut a stencil of the bird and stenciled it in black.

I used a technique of putting fabric together taught to our group by Mariet.

I added lace and embroidery.

(hand dyed) cotton, silk, lace, rim of sleeve of disgarded shirt, cotton floss.

AA voor Tonny. Haar thema is vogel(s).

Ik heb een sjabloon van een vogel gesneden en die met zwarte acrylverf aangebracht.

Deze techniek van stof "componeren" heb ik van Mariet geleerd.

Ik heb nog kant en borduurwerk toegevoegd.

(handgeverfde) katoen, zijde, kant, onderrand van blouse, borduurgaren.
