stitched and received

I've spent all evening stitching on Lyn's summer block. It took me a long time to find inspiration. I'm not a girl for the beach and I'm not familiar with the California beach at all. I came up with the sunshade, looked to me that the girl could do with some sunprotection. Jose suggested the palmtree. I would never have thought of that. I'm also thinking of crocheting a fan. But that won't fill the block. Any suggestions?
Ik ben de hele avond aan het borduren geweest aan Lyn's zomerblok. Het duurde lang om inspiratie te vinden. Ik ben geen strandliefhebster en ik ben niet bekend met de Californische kust. Ik heb de parasol bedackt. Ik vond dat het meisje wel wat bescherming tegen de zon kon gebruiken. Jose kwam met de palmboom, goed idee, daar had ik nooit aan gedacht. Ik denk er verder over om een waaier te haken, maar daarmee heb ik het blok niet vol. Heeft iemand nog ideëen?
