Diva challenge

For this week's challenge of the Diva we had to play with Beamz. I hadn't tried this one before. It's not an easy one for filling. Here's my result, a colorstudy in brown.
Voor de uitdaging van de Diva voor deze week moesten we met Beamz aan de gang. Deze had ik nog niet eerder gebruikt. Geen gemakkelijke voor vlakvulling. Hier is mijn resultaat, kleurstudie in bruin.
Never thought this would happen, but I made up a zentangle myself. When you look up close at the bottomright picture of the colorstudy you can see where it came from.
Nooit gedacht dat ik dit kon, maar ik heb zelf een zentangle bedacht. Als je goed naar rechtsonder van de kleurstudie kijkt zie je waar mijn inspiratie vandaan is gekomen.

A lot going on in this tile, really enjoy the mix of materials. Congrats on your first tangle, I can hardly wait to see your deconstruction!

thank you Cecilia, Cecile and Daniele for your comments. At first I was a bit worried if these collages would be acceptable for zentangling, but I really enjoy this mix of techniques and they are great color studies for my textile work.
I have several more of these pages ready for zentangle challenges. I want to make them into a book.

Very nice, especially the new invention. Give it a name and share it!

a good tangle you have come up with, zentangle has certainly taken off world wide so far I have resisted trying it as there is so much I want to do allready

about the new zentangle.the most logical name would be waves but that name is already taken. I could go for flow then. like that?

Efie woon je ergens in de buurt van Leiden? dan kunnen we er een aantal samen maken. moeilijk is het niet.

Cecile where can I see your use of my tangle? I'm anxious to see.

Beamz makes a great background in your first tile......softly done it would make a great background for a website too! Love your new tangle pattern!

Your artwork, your new tangle, and your words about them are all so enjoyable! What a great entry to kick of this week of the Diva's Challenge! As for the name of your new tangle, perhaps you could use a Dutch word? "Stroom," perhaps? Forgive me if I am misguided in the word usage. I used Google Translate to look up a few, including "wave." That might not be the best choice; "golf" would be very confusing to the English-speaking tanglers!

Welcome to the world of the Challenges/Dares. Your mixed media ZIA is great. I agree that it is a challenge to come up with other things to pout with it.

Your entry for the challenge is wonderful! Great idea to use Beamz in a mixed media artwork! It looks great! Also I like your very lovely tangle!

Amy, thank you for thinking with me. Stroom can be translated with stream and that doesn't attract me. I also thought that golf wouldn't work. Now I'm thinking I could name it "surf". that sounds nice enough. in Dutch it could be "branding".
