Here are my first bundles. I got very interested in making bundles after reading India Flint's blog and reading her book. After I put them on a heat source I found out I should've bundled them thigh and bind them securely. I used leaves of eucalyptus, leaves of elderberry and bark from birch. Fabric was soaked in an alum solution for days and the bundles had steeped for over an hour then left to cool.
Hier zijn mijn eerste bundels. Nadat het blog van India Flint ontdekte en haar boek las was ik zeer geïnteresseerd in het maken van bundels. Nadat ik ze op 't vuur had gezet kwam ik erachter dat ik de bundels strak had moeten indraaien en stevig vastbinden. Ik heb blad van eucalyptus en vlier gebruikt plus bast/schors van berk. De stof heeft dagen in een aluinoplossing geweekt, ik heb ze een uur laten trekken en daarna laten afkoelen.
After a week I opened the bundles. No results for the elderberry and birch, nice prints from the eucalyptus.
Na een week heb ik de bundels geopend. Geen resultaat voor de vlier en berk, leuke afdrukken van de eucalyptus.
