rr block, bookpage and scented sachet

I have been working some more on this landscape block. I had already embroidered the stem of the tree but couldn't decide on the foliage. First I did leaves in detached chainstitches with organza ribbon. I didn't like it, so I ripped it and couched this hairy yarn. I like this much better.
I've embroidered flowerheads for the Hydrangea on a seperate bit of fabric and appliquéd them to this block to form a bush. I filled in the spaces with silk ribbon in 2 colors.

This is the Haiku themed page I've received from Marja, through a fabric page swap on the fibre fever group. This page is very special to me. I love mushrooms and the Haiku says exactly what I love:
smell the scent of autumn
feel the rain on your face
look at the mushrooms
I altered the translation a bit to get the 5-7-5 rhythm again.
Also I love the way the page has been made, technique, colors, materials, everything.

I've added embroidery to the 2 Cathedral window blocks. Silk ribbon Fargo roses (there are lots more names for this rose), blue cast on flowers and French knots in variegated white.
I tatted a motif for the backside of this project, but picked a motif that turned out too big, so I'll have to start over again. I already have a good use for the finished motif.
